Current Programs

Active Aging Program

The exercise right for active aging program is a government funded group exercise program and ran by our Accredited Exercise Physiologists. This program is for clients over the age of 65 and are not currently meeting the physical activity guidelines. You will be provided with support to develop practical strategies to incorporate physical activity into your daily lifestyle in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

Beat-It Diabetes Program

The Beat-It Diabetes program is a group based exercise program organised by Diabetes NSW/ACT and is delivered by our Accredited Exercise Physiologists. Members of the NDSS are able to access this 8 week program free of charge. This includes TWO exercise sessions each week and 6 education session which help in the understanding of diabetes and ways in which you can assist in diabetes management.

During this group program, clients will be able to complete an individually targeted exercise regime focused on your individual goals and current physical activity level.

Lunch Time Class

This lunch time class is the perfect way to break up your day and complete a mix of aerobic, resistance and flexibility training targeted to your individual needs. Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists will be able to provide you with a detailed program to support your needs and will be there every step of the way throughout the class.

Move with Women Program

This program is specifically targeted for women who are looking for guidance on being able to increase their physical activity levels or seeking new ideas on how exercise can be incorporated into their daily lives. Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists aim to establish a fun, supportive and social environment from day 1 of this 9 week program to assist you in being able to reach your individual goals. The program also includes 4 education sessions aimed discussing different strategies and ideas around physical activity.

During this group program, clients will be able to complete an individually targeted exercise regime focused on your individual goals and current physical activity level.

Private Diabetes Exercise Class

This group class is clients living with type 2 diabetes and wanting to further promote exercise and physical activity for ongoing diabetes management. The program includes an initial consultation that will establish your goals of the program followed by 8 weekly exercise sessions that are 60 minutes in duration. Using the evidence based exercise prescription, our Accredited Exercise Physiologists will prescribe an individual exercise program that will assist you to reach your goals and manage your health through regular exercise.

Supervised Exercise Physiology Class

These small group classes (up to 4 participants) are based on current evidence based exercise targeted towards assisting you to enhance your health and lifestyle. Based on your specific goals, our Accredited Exercise Physiologists will be able to provide you with a specific exercise program to complete in a small group setting. You are then able to complete the program in a supervised and supportive environment targeted to you, your goals and your needs.

Times: Monday 5pm-6pm (Physio-led), Tuesday 8am-9am (EP-led), Wednesday 4pm-5pm (Physio-led), Thursday 8am-9am (EP-led)
Cost:  $35.00 per session or x2 sessions per week for $50
