Recent research has shown that participating in pelvic floor exercise classes was more beneficial to patients than performing daily set pelvic floor exercises at home. With this research in mind we have created a women’s health exercise class to strengthen the pelvic floor and core muscles specifically.
This class will combine body weight strength training with pelvic floor exercises to improve core strength and endurance. This class is aimed at anyone who is struggling with pelvic floor and core strength, pre and post natal women, and incontinence and prolapse patients.
An initial consultation with a physiotherapist including real time ultrasound assessment of the pelvic floor and core muscles will be advised prior to attending the women’s health exercise class.
